Arcade Fire has released the cover art for their forthcoming single "Reflektor."
According to an article posted Sept. 6 at ConsequenceOfSound.net, the Canuck indie rockers have ramped up media buzz for their much anticipated fourth studio album by unveiling the enticing artwork to their soon-to-be-released lead off single.
Adding to the mystery of their ongoing promotion for the new album, the "Reflektor" single cover (shown) displays only six of the seven members of the band (violinist Sarah Neufeld is missing), posed with their instruments, faces deliberately shaded out, with the name "The Reflektors" printed on the side of the sleeve.
Director Anton Corbijn revealed on Sept. 5 that he's directed a video for Arcade Fire's new single“Reflektor," which will premiere at 9 p.m. on Sept. 9.
The Montreal based Grammy winners also posted a 41-second video clip earlier in the week titled "Reflektor 9/9/9" at their official website and previewed new material live Wednesday at a Montreal Salsa club.
Fans can check out the teaser video clip at ArcadeFire.com.
Did you know? It is rumoured that David Bowie, a devout Arcade Fire fan, may appear as a guest artist on the band's new album.
