Arcade Fire has unveiled a surprise performance in Haiti, scheduled for this month.

According to an article posted Feb. 3 at Pollstar.com, the Canuck indie rockers and local artists will perform Feb. 21 during Carnival celebrations in the coastal town of Jacmel, Haiti.

The appearance was confirmed by the multi Juno and Grammy Award-winners' official rep. Scott Rodger of Quest Management via e-mail.

Arcade Fire are nominated in the category of Best International Group at the Brit Awards, which will be held on Feb. 19 in a ceremony at London’s O2 Arena,

Their massive 2014 Reflektor World Tour kicks off March 6 in Louisville, Ky. at KFC Yum! Center.

The Canadian leg begins on March 13 at Toronto's Air Canada Centre and winds up on Aug. 30 in Montreal, QC at Parc Jean Drapeau.
