Arcade Fire among stars slated for Jimmy Fallon's debut week on 'Tonight Show'

Arcade Fire will he among the high profile musical guests appearing during Jimmy Fallon's opening week as host of "The Tonight Show."

According to an article posted Feb. 10 at Billboard.com, the Canuck indie-rockers will appear on the longrunning NBC late night talk show on Thursday, Feb. 19.

Joining the multi-Grammy and Juno Award winning band on the show will be U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama and comedian/actor Will Ferrell.

Other music artists joining Fallon on his maiden week as new replacement for former host Jay Leno, include: U2 (Feb. 17), Lady Gaga (Feb. 18), Tim McGraw (Feb. 19) and Justin Timberlake (Feb. 20).

Arcade Fire nabbed a field leading six nominatons at the 2014 Juno Awards, which will be held in Winnipeg, MB from March 24-30 with the awards ceremony scheduled to air live on CTV Sunday, March 30 from MTS Centre.

Their massive 2014 Reflektor World Tour kicks off March 6 in Louisville, Ky. at KFC Yum! Center.

The Canadian leg begins on March 13 at Toronto's Air Canada Centre and winds up on Aug. 30 in Montreal, QC at Parc Jean Drapeau.
