Arcade Fire add new 2014 dates in Canada and U.S

Arcade Fire continue to expand their 2014 tour schedule with added summer shows in Canada and the U.S.

According to new tour page additions posted Dec. 4 at Pollstar.com, the Canuck indie rockers have confirmed three new August shows in Brooklyn, N.Y., Bangor, Maine and Toronto with more dates expected to be revealed soon!

Originally scheduled for a two-night stand at Brooklyn's Barclays Center August 22-23, the Grammy winning Montreal natives have added a third show on August 24, as well as a new show on Aug. 20 in Bangor at Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion and a second Toronto show on Aug. 29 at Molson Canadian Ampitheatre.

Tickets for the new Toronto show go on sale on Fri., Dec. 13 with seat prices TBA.

Presales begin Thurs., Dec. 12.

The Canadian Reflektor Tour leg kicks off on March 13 at Toronto's Air Canada Centre and winds up on Aug. 30 in Montreal, QC at Parc Jean Drapeau.

Arcade Fire have two shows remaining in their 2013 tour schedule on Dec. 7 in Oakland, Calif. at Oracle Arena and Dec. 8 in Los Angeles at Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall before taking a break for the holidays.

Their 2014 tour schedule kicks off with a run of shows as headliner for Big Day Out festival, which commences on Jan. 17 in Auckland, N.Z. at Western Springs Stadium.
