Just last week, George Henner of Chicago, IL won Arcade Brewery’s crowd-sourced beer naming contest. After making the decision to brew a Scotch Ale as their first “Public Brew,” Arcade turned to its fan base to name the beer. Henner’s entry, “William Wallace Wrestle Fest,” beat out runner-up, “There Can Only Be One,” by over 40 votes in an online competition on Facebook. But naming the beer was only half of the battle.
With a name to work with, Arcade has turned to the public once again in order to source artwork for the WWWF label. All interested designers have until March 15th to submit their entry for the label design here. A nice prize of $300 will go to the winner on top of the fact that their work will make its way into the hands of thousands of people.
I encourage you to check out Arcade Brewery and pass this challenge along to your creatively minded friends. I can vouch for Arcade’s co-owner, Lance Curran, when I say that everyone will appreciate it.
