Arango Cigar Co. adds new Private Label Romeo y Julieta premium cigars

Romeo y Julieta Clasico joins last year’s Macanudo and Punch Clasicos’ introduction, offered only at brick-and-mortar tobacco retailers
Arango Cigar Co

Announcing the latest premium cigar offering from Arango Cigar Co., President Michael Gold states, “We are pleased to include Romeo & Julieta as the most recent addition in our new ‘Clasico’ series of premium cigars. Romeo y Julieta Clasicos are a product of Altadis USA, Inc. The original two Clasicos are patterned after General Cigar Company’s top-selling Macanudo and Punch brands. We now offer Clasicos in a wide range of smooth to fuller-bodied flavor profiles to suit all palates.” The three Clasico lines are made exclusively for Arango.

All Clasicos have Natural wrappers. Their make-ups and blends are comparable to the renowned Altadis and General Cigar brands. Romeo y Julieta Clasicos are medium-bodied with an Indonesian wrapper, while medium-bodied Punch Clasicos have an Ecuadorean wrapper and the mild-to-medium-bodied Macanudo Clasico features a Connecticut shade wrapper.

The Romeo y Julieta Clasico frontmarks, like the original two lines, pay tribute to notable Chicagoland areas: Mag Mile (5-1/2 x 44), Windy City (5 x 50), Bucktown (6-1/8 x 52, Belicoso) and Gold Coast (6 x 60). Their suggested retail prices range from $6.75 to $8.40.

Clasicos are presented in 15-count boxes, an affordable, space-saving and novel feature of the line. All Clasico lineups are currently available at brick-and-mortar tobacco shops.
