Aquaman confirmed to appear in NetherRealm's 'Injustice: Gods Among Us' (Photos)

Warner Bros. Interactive revealed today that Aquaman will be joining NetherRealm's "Injustice: Gods Among Us". IGN also released a special trailer containing clips of Aquaman's involvement and how destructive he can be in battle.

The bold new fighting game introduces an original story that includes a large cast of favorite DC Comics icons such as Nightwing, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Cyborg, Harley Quinn, the Joker and many more. The characters will fall between two classes: power characters and gadget characters. The power types are those who use brute force and strength to take down their opponents as opposed to the gadget characters who rely on external mechanisms.

The "Injustice: Gods Among Us" Collector’s Edition ($99.99) will be available in the United States and will include an exclusive DC Collectibles statue, free comic book, a digital download of the DC Universe animated film Justice League: Doom, and three exclusive skins based on the New 52.

The title is scheduled to be released on April 16, 2013 for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and WiiU.
