Aqib Talib and TJ Ward are now part of the Denver Broncos. The Broncos may have lost the Super Bowl last month to the Seattle Seahawks, but they feel they have the talent to make a return trip in 2015. After yesterday's big free agent signings they might be right on track to do so.
According to Dan Wetzel of Yahoo sports on March 12, Denver's defense just got better as they have signed former New England Patriot star Aqib Talib, the top available cornerback, to a 6 year deal on the heels of signing hard hitting safety T.J. Ward from the Cleveland Browns.
The Broncos are also rumored to be involved with former Dallas pass rusher DeMarcus Ware. Ware is scheduled to visit Denver this week.
John Elway may have been down when the Broncos were thumped in the championship game, but he is not out when it comes to being positive about next season. Elway has put together a tough team in Denver and for the second straight year he has taken one of the New England Patriots top free agents.
Last year it was Wes Welker, this year it's Aqib Talib.
Talib is big for a DB (6-foot-1), and along with adding TJ Ward the Broncos may have turned the weakest part of their defense into the strongest.
