The annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival happens every April. This year is filled with colorful fields dotting the valley floor with red, orange, purple, and pink. The flowers are in good condition, and photographic.
This event brings people from around the world to view the fields, and garden displays. The bulb growers in the valley show their best side at this time of the season. The tulip bulbs seen in the fields and display gardens are available for purchase.
The best viewing weather for the tulips is sunny to partly cloudy. For the photographer, the clouds in the sky create dynamic photographs of brilliantly colored tulips, blue sky, and white puffy clouds.
The festival offers tours of the tulips, art shows, and fun in the outdoors. There are activities for the entire family. For the entire list of activities, visit the festival website.
