April is National frog month. In April we celebrate and learn about these hopping amphibians. This is a good time to explore all about frogs with your child. There is a wealth of information about these slimy four legged creatures. Frogs are cold-blooded vertebrate animals. There are more than 400 species of frogs. Frogs usually have webbed back feet, two bulging eyes, and smooth or slimy skin. Frogs have a 5 stage life cycle which starts with an egg, followed by a tadpole, a tadpole with legs, a froglet, then a mature frog. Try this cute frog craft to celebrate National Frog Month.
