Sniper: Reloaded is a direct-to-video action film starring Chad Michael Collins and Billy Zane. In this fourth film of the Sniper film series, Billy Zane reprises his role as the American sniper Richard Miller from the first Sniper film (1993). Chad Michael Collins plays the role of Marine Sergeant Brandon Beckett, the son of the renown sniper main character Thomas Beckett in the first three Sniper films. The young Beckett is working with the UN Forces in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. When a mission for his unit to rescue a reluctant European farmer in hostile rebel territory turns deadly leaving him the sole survivor, he is determined to hunt down the mysterious sniper who ambushed them and avenge his fallen brothers. With unsolicited help from his father’s former protégé, Richard Miller who is now a sniper instructor, Beckett must learn how to think and act like a sniper if he is to prevail. The smart and beautiful Lieutenant Ellen Abramowitz, played by Annabel Wright, becomes his love interest and the three of them set off to uncover a dangerous conspiracy that could make this their last mission.

Unlike the usual disappointment of most film sequels, Sniper: Reloaded pays homage to the first three Sniper films and keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end. Do not be deceived by the seemingly predictable plot in the cat-and-mouse game of sniper skills as the end provides a surprising twist. If you love guns and the thrill of the hunt, then Sniper: Reloaded will not fail to disappoint. Add in a little sex and the cinematic African savanna landscape and you got yourself 90 minutes of simple entertainment sans Hollywood sensationalism.
