The 420 Funk Mob will be celebrating April 20, at Mill Street Brews in Southbridge, Mass. The 420 Funk Mob are members of Parliament Funkadelic Allstars and their special guests. They are funky, psychedelic, and they jam, kind of like a funky 'Jerry Garcia Band'. This event will include The Alchemystics, Big Ol Dirty Bucket, Goosepimp, Jabooda, and the Szpunakapeda Bandita Art Collective Gallery. The Alchemystics blend reggae, politically infused hip-hop, gritty soul, hard-driving rock, and pulsing Jamaican, Cuban and Trinidadian rhythms to create their own sound. Big Ol Dirty Bucket is described as "Parliament-Funkadelic meets Aretha Franklin at a Jay-Z concert". Goosepimp Orchestra is an eight piece psychedelic latin, funk group. Jabooda consider themselves a funky jazzy rock jam band. The Szpunakapeda Bandita Art Collective Gallery will include Alex Crowcroft, Lauren Flanagan, Vic Avallone, Nick Mekowhy, Kawon Nowak, and Mary Murph displaying their art or on stage doing live art.
