The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce has announced the applicants for the third annual James Tyree Emerging Business Leadership Award.
The applicants vary in leadership style and industry. From information technology to human behavior to landscaping, applicants have proven their expertise in leadership.
The four finalists will be judged tomorrow on Monday June 16th. The winner for 2014 will be announced at the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 24th, at Navy Pier.
The award is given in honor of the late James Tyree, who served as Chairman for the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce. Tyree was a keen activist for business in the local community.
The companies will be evaluated based on their civic and charitable involvement, company leadership, growth and scalability. The award will include a $25,000 cash prize in addition to valuable business training and consulting services donated by Chamber sponsors.
