Apple's iOS 7 has download problems. Some people hate the new look, and some people hate the new functionality. One of the most controversial pop stars of today is one of them. On Sept. 20, 2013, Miley Cyrus tweeted, "I hate the iPhone update."
Do you agree with her? The touchscreen and software for the iPhone has stayed the same for years. Users of the iPhone got used to it, and when people get used to things, change is hard. The iPhone update alters the look of the iPhone significantly.
"I'm really frustrated with this iPhone update. It's. Too. Bright," tweeted actress Chloë Grace Moretz.
This bright new iPhone software update is called iOS 7. Joanna Stern, Technology Editor for ABC News, explains, "Icons are new (though not always better), menus are translucent and with new shades of light blues and purples, the keyboard is cleaner and everything is generally tidier."
But even if people disagree with Moretz and like the aesthetics of the iPhone, there are people who have complaints about its functionality. Apple's iOS 7 download problems include a variety of issues. According to Samantha Murphy Kelly of Mashable, people are protesting because the apps no longer look like buttons; the phone seems to use more battery than before; it takes longer to navigate through folders, and more.
But like every new thing that comes into our lives, we often eventually get used to it.
Have you experienced iOS 7 download problems? Or are you pleased with the new update? Please leave a comment.
