While the Vintage Computer Festival Southeast (VCFSE) is still a couple of months away, an announcement has been made for one of their larger exhibits, an Apple pop-up museum. The event will take place April 20 and 21 in Atlanta, Georgia and promises some nostalgic reflections on your favorite Apple products.
The exhibit will showcase a large collection of Apple personal computers and consumer electronics products as well as share the history of the company since its founding in 1976 to the present. An Apple I, the first disk II and controller card, an original Apple II, an original Lisa and a Xerox Alto are just a few of the items that will be displayed.
The Apple area will be around 6,000 square feet and will include the following areas: Pre-Apple, Apple I, Apple II, Turmoil Years, No Founders Left, Jobs’ Come Back Room, Ive’s Colors Room, iPod/ iPhone/ iPad Room, The Timeline Lounge, and Apple’s Present to the Future Room.
If you will be in the Atlanta area in April and are an Apple enthusiast, this exhibit would be tough to pass up. One-day adult tickets to the VCFSE are $10, with a two-day pass for $15. Children ages 17 and younger are admitted free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Enjoy the show.
