At a meeting in Los Angeles this morning, technology enthusiasts talked about the success of the Microsoft Surface Pro and the possibility of an OS X tablet from Apple. Los Angeles industry analyst Paul Mueller told the group that he hears one is in the works.
"There will absolutely be an OS X tablet," Mueller claimed. "I know there are prototypes and Apple was originally considering an OS X tablet before the iPad came out," he continued. "It is quite possible that the OS X tablet will replace the MacBook Air or come out as a separate item."
We talked to our source from Apple, who says there are absolutely no plans for an OS X tablet this year, but didn't deny the possibility of one in the future. "Apple knows what there audience wants and if demand for an OS X tablet is valid, you can bet they will jump on it," we are told. What do you think? Would you buy an OS X tablet?
