Just in time for Paul McCartney's birthday celebration today (he's 68--happy birthday Paul!)

We have an announcement out of Seattle, Wa for a special McCartney tribute by local Beatles cover group Apple Jam on July 24 at the Triple Door. (See our recent review of their Woodshed show).

From the official press release:

Presented by Roseta Productions, Apple Jam’s ‘McCartney/Beatles Tribute’ concert to showcase Sir Paul’s catalogue of Beatles and solo years hits, at Seattle’s Triple Door on Saturday July 24th.

The show will feature a live performance of the landmark album ‘Band on the Run’ in its entirety, and songs from Apple Jam’s debut CD titled "Off the Beatle Track" (15 songs composed but never released by the Beatles). 

When: 8pm, Friday, July 24th, 2010. Doors 6pm
