Words spreads fast on social media and when Steve Jobs announced the new Apple iPad today, there was some snickering going on. Especially among women. Most women don't want to discuss anything that has to do with a pad, despite those perky commercials that show that we really do have happier days with feminine hygiene products. That's just not true.
Somehow, Apple didn't consult women on this. The name is causing some good natured joking on the Internet and Twitter is abuzz with maxi-pad humor. Then there's the MAD TV video that's bound to go viral again due to this incredibly odd branding job Apple came up with. The iPad. It took me two seconds to decide that this is going to be a major blooper and I can't wait to see what Saturday Night Live does with it.

I can't believe that video, here I am in Starbucks, and thank goodness no one else is at this table. Funny though, I needed a giggle today.
