Apple Holler's Red Barn Theatre is presenting Kickin' Back with the Rat Pack 2 dinner theatre show, from January 28-April 5, 2012. Located in Racine, Wisconsin, Apple Holler is located within driving distance from Chicago and Milwaukee. Apple Holler has been a destination for upbeat musical entertainment for more than a decade.
The show, featuring songs of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., and Dean Martin, is a nostalgic trip back to the days of great singers doing great songs. Four performers fill the stage with songs, dance and a bit of comedy, just like the shows given by the famous "Rat Pack."
The show was first seen at Apple Holler during the spring of 2009 and was a huge hit. Kickin' Back with the Rat Pack 2 has been requested many times since the closing of the first production.
The performance is cabaret style, with male and female singers bringing the songs to life. Some of the memorable tunes include: "My Way," "That's Amore," "Mack the Knife," "I Gotta Be Me," "New York, New York," and many more. For selected performance dates, the Red Barn stage is transformed into a showcase to bring to life the songs, talents, lives and spirit of these timeless performers.
The group of professional singers, dancers and actors blend their talents, crooning to the audience in the manner of the famous Rat Pack, using charm, energy and personality to make this personal and interactive performance an enjoyable and memorable experience for guests of all ages.
People who remember the talents of Sinatra, Davis, and Martin will appreciate this tribute, and this show will introduce a new generation to the songs of these memorable and iconic performers of the 50's and 60's.
The menu for the meal that accompanies the show, whether dinner or lunch, will feature an Italian theme in honor of those two fabulous Italians, whose music will be featured throughout the performance; Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.
Apple Holler's Kickin' Back with the Rat Pack 2 is presented as dinner or luncheon theatre, during select dates and times beginning January 28, 2012 through April 5, 2012. The price of $49.95 per person includes: a four-course themed wine dinner with wonderfully paired Wisconsin wine samples, beverage, dessert, tip, and the performance.
