Apple Holler Family Farm Park is a family-friendly attraction in the Racine area, a few miles north of the Illinois/Wisconsin border an within driving distance from Chicago. The farm is open year-around and offers a number of activities in addition to having a country restaurant and bakery.

During the month of October, Apple Holler features fall themed activities, including hayrides, scarecrow contests and the Crazy Corn Maze which has been redone with 10 feet tall corn stalks. Looking for an old-fashioned family activity? Pick apples in the orchard to give the family the experience of picking fruit right off the trees. Free wagon rides are offered with the purchase of the apple picking package.
The Golden Goat Bridge and other farmyard animals to visit including baby goats, ducks, chickens and bunnies, the Jack and the Beanstalk Storybook Trail, Giant Slide, Kids' Corral play area, complete with a huge Rainbow play system, an Amish-built wooden train, Cool Cow Maze, many great photo opportunities and more.
There are even more attractions offered on the weekends including: hand-led pony rides, pedal cart rides, the Kiddie Train, Barnyard Bounce House, pig races, face painting, the Apple Holler Gemstone Mining Company, a two acre Orchard Trivia Maze, children's games such as pumpkin bowling, live entertainment and more. Remember to try the tractor-drawn wagon rides through the orchard and Enchanted Forest.
Free wagon rides are offered with the purchase of an apple picking package. Saturdays and Sundays will also offer delicious food hot off the grill at The Applewood Grill.
Entering the Apple Holler Farm, one sees the farmyard, complete with goats and farm animals. Inside, there is a country store offering home-style pies and bakery, jams, cheese, gift items, Wisconsin wines and more. The restaurant has a rustic atmosphere and offers a selection of hearty breakfasts, lunches, dinners and desserts. At times there are the hearty buffets, offering a bounty of food.
The Red Barn Dinner Theatre features shows for children and for adults. The current dinner theatre program is a Star-Trek themed interactive murder mystery titled Beam Me Up Scotty - She Hollered. The play runs on select dates through Nov. 16., 2013.
Apple Holler offers an ever-changing variety of seasonal entertainment, such as fall's apple and pumpkin festivals and winter's horse-drawn sleigh rides.
Apple Holler is located between Racine and Kenosha, off I-94 on Sylvania Avenue (the west frontage road), just north of the highway KR in Sturtevant/Racine, Wisc.
