Apples often go hand in hand with school and the classroom. As your little ones head back to school or start school, you may be looking for a cute school bag for your child to carry their belongings. Making a school bag will be intensely more fun and unique than buying a backpack that every other child has. Using a few material you and your child can make a beautiful apple bag.
- Markers (optional)
Cut an apple in half from top to bottom. Make sure the cut is smooth and flat. Use a paintbrush to apply the paint evenly over the cut side of the apple.
With the apple half, cut side down, stamp the surface of the object you want to decorate. The more times you stamp, the less vivid the print will be, so reapply paint, or use the other half.
Use additional apple halves to print with different colors, if desired. To draw stems and leaves, use black or green markers (or paint).
