Apple may have been trying to impress buyers with the rainbow of colors they introduced earlier today, but it sounds like the new products are being received with mixed reviews. While some people love the pop of color, others are thinking that Apple isn't offering something new and interesting. According to a new Mashable report published on Sept. 10, Apple is now being accused of designing a phone a little too familiar to one released by Nokia.
Of course, many smart phones on the market will offer several colors to ensure that people can get the color that presents them. Apple has always always branded itself on the white and black iPhones, but it sounds like that is about to change. Not only did Apple offer new colorful phones this morning, but the company also went overboard in color. And one company took notice on this and went on Twitter. The official Nokia UK account tweeted a picture of their phones, with the caption that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
But that wasn't all. Nokia UK also went after Apple's new gold phone. “Real gangsters don't use gold phones,” read a new tweet from the company. And it sounds like Samsung was also after Apple during the launch event today.
It does seem odd that Apple would come up with products that are so similar to others already on the market. It is not like Apple to copy others in the industry. What do you think of Apple's new products? Are you disappointed or impressed?
