This BBQ Pulled Chicken recipe can be put together quickly and will cook in your slow cooker while you are doing other things. When it's done cooking, it stays hot in the crock pot and your guests can make themselves a sandwich when there is a break in the game.
BBQ Pulled Chicken
- 3-4 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup water
- 1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- sandwich rolls
Place chicken breasts in slow cooker. Stir together BBQ sauce, water, and brown sugar. Pour over chicken breasts, stirring to coat. Cover and cook on high 4-6 hours. Pull chicken apart, shredding it with 2 forks when done cooking. Keep warm in slow cooker, serve on sandwich buns.
