If you are a fan of Guns 'N' Roses, this tribute band is supposed to be as authentic as you can get to the real thing. Chad Atkins takes on the persona of Axl Rose and it is extremely hard to tell the difference in looks and sound.
This tribute band has been around for ten years performing over 200 shows per year. They will be at Rams Head Live on Thursday, April 21, 2011. Tickets go on sale March 3rd at 3:30 PM EST for $15 plus tax.
The band states, “For us, it’s just getting a chance to fulfill something we’ve always wanted to do, which is get out and tour and making a living playing music. For the crowd, it’s about giving them a Guns N’ Roses that they can’t get anymore. There’s the new Guns N’ Roses, but that era with Slash doesn’t exist anymore.”
The question is...would you go see a tribute band if you cannot see the real thing in concert? Check out the youtube video to the left and see how uncanny the resemblances are.
Has anyone seen Appetite for Destruction?
