The Sochi Olympics Opening Ceremony is less than three days away and the final rehearsals of the performance has many people sneaking in for a peek. While there are only a few confirmed performers and a lot of surprises, it appears that one man who knows what to expect is Apolo Anton Ohno. The decorated Olympian dished on the Opening Ceremony rehearsals on Tuesday and suggested there are a lot of surprises. According to Bleacher Report on Tuesday, three confirmed performers that are expected to be seen include Yuri Bashmet, Valery Gergiec and Denis Matsuev.

“Was able to watch a rehearsal the opening ceremonies and it is pretty spectacular. Lots of surprises & rich history. Eyes wide open! #sochi,” tweeted Apolo Anton Ohno from his official Twitter account. The athlete has been to plenty of Olympics, but sharing a little nugget of detail about the ceremonies created plenty of buzz about making point to see the games.

So what is expected at the Opening Ceremonies? So far there has been so much speculation and little confirmation on what might be shared. For sure athletes have reported seeing fireworks and hearing classical music. Outside of that, the world will be surprised at what Sochi might be sharing as the sporting event is kicked off.
