The news for Apollo Nida might not be the best. The reality star who has been seen in “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” needs to report to jail very soon. In fact, he must surrender on or before September 10, leaving fans wondering if he is going to quietly submit to the judge’s order or make a spectacle of the situation. According to Reality Tea on Thursday, the eight year sentence includes a decision to pay back roughly $1.9 million dollars in restitution.

The reality star has people watching the cast members of the show closely, even though new episodes aren't currently on Bravo. Viewers are wondering if Phaedra Parks will divorce Apollo Nida or if she (and their two kids) will wait until he returns to move on with life. So far Parks hasn't revealed her decision on their marriage even though Apollo Nida admits she might not wait for him.

Obviously being in prison won’t offer Apollo Nida any opportunities to make money as he will be unavailable, but that doesn't mean he won’t have work waiting for him when he gets out. With overcrowding and good behavior, it’s unlikely he will be in jail for the full length of the sentence, leaving him with a chance to move on with his life in four years or less. And hopefully he can reconnect with his kids too.

The reality star has been one of the two stars currently seen on the “Real Housewives” series that is facing jail time. Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe are also looking at sentencing later this year for alleged acts.
