Apollo Nida heads to jail: Bravo to air the last walk of freedom on ‘RHOA’?

Apollo Nida has one week to go to jail. The reality star who has been seen in “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” needs to report to prison very soon or the federal marshals will take him unwillingly. In fact, he must surrender on or before September 10, leaving fans wondering if he is going to quietly submit to the judge’s order or make a spectacle of the situation. According to NewsOne on Thursday, the eight-year sentence includes paying back roughly $1.9 million dollars in restitution including cash to JP Morgan Chase and Delta Airlines.

Is Bravo going to film the star’s last free steps as he walks into prison? The reality star is always looking to make a big splash on life so it wouldn't be surprising. Arranging a look at the final moments of his freedom would be interesting to capture on film. The site Reality Tea is reporting that the star could arrive at the correctional facility earlier than the required date and that would allow a camera crew to be present if during the day.

Being in prison won’t offer Apollo Nida any opportunities to make the $1.9 million for restitution, as he will be locked up, but that doesn't mean he won't have gigs waiting for him when he gets out. With overcrowding and good behavior, it’s unlikely he will be in jail for the full length of the sentence leaving him with a chance to move on with his life in four years or less. Will Nida learn his lessons and avoid fraud in the future?

The reality star has been one of the two stars currently seen on the “Real Housewives” series that is facing jail time. Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe are also looking at sentencing later this year for alleged fraud acts.
