Apollo Nida is facing criticism from T.I. after he used the rapper’s name in a tweet about snitching. Vibe reports on Sunday that the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star was confronted by the rapper who demanded that he clarify his statements. Phaedra Parks’ husband responded by posting several new comments on Twitter that served as an apology.
Nida has been charged for bank fraud in addition to identity theft, and he faces a possible prison sentence of 30 years. He will be sentenced in July, but he still finds time to respond to criticism on Twitter and try to clear his name. In one post, he compared his snitching to T.I. and Michael Vick who allegedly agreed to be informants.
T.I. did not react well to the Twitter post from Nida and actually confronted him outside a strip club. The rapper demanded that Parks’ husband fix the comment and stop calling him a snitch. The confrontation worked because Nida deleted the original tweet and made several new posts to explain his previous comment.
Nida claims his original tweet was taken out of context, and he never meant to accuse T.I. of snitching. The rapper’s anger is justified considering he did not agree to be an informant in his plea deals. Nida has corrected the issue and has also avoided mentioning Michael Vick again.
Nida may be battling people on Twitter and outside of clubs, but his wife is busy spending Mother’s Day with Kandi Burruss and Mama Joyce. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars enjoyed dinner together with other mothers. She has not publicly responded to his confrontation with T.I. or commented on his original Twitter post. The couple is still surrounded by divorce rumors, but Parks is focusing on her own life and recently graduated from funeral director school.
