Apollo Nida is no stranger to the prison system. Just 5 short years ago, Nida was released from prison after serving for a myriad of convictions. On Jan. 25 TMZ reports that Apollo Nida has been arrested again and it looks like he may be up to his same old tricks.

The husband of "Real Housewives of Atltanta" star Phaedra Parks has been arrested and charged with a massive case of identity theft and bank fraud.

According to reports, Nida surrendered to U.S. Marshals on Thursday evening. He has already been charged and released on a pretrial bond of $25,000.

As most "RHOA" fans know, this is not Apollo Nida's first brush with the law. He has already served nearly 5 years in prison in very similar charges. His first sentence was 18-years but he only served a small portion. Prior convictions include racketeering and violation of the RICO act. He was accused of receiving stolen goods, forgery and sale of a vehicle with an altered VIN number.

This time around, Apollo is accused of identity theft and bank fraud for creating false companies and opening fake bank accounts using the names of other real people. The story gets even thicker and Nida is very possibly in big trouble.

According to Access Atlanta, Apollo was using those fake bank accounts to filter money from U.S. Treasury checks and auto loan profits. Both the new charges and his previous convictions all centered around auto title fraud.

Apollo Nida's next scheduled court date is Feb. 12.
