APG a great alternative to Ancestry's ExpertConnect Services

ExpertConnect Services to end in February 2011

Consider APG as an alternative to Ancestry.com ExpertConnect

Being an avid genealogist an researcher I am a big fan of Ancestry.com. I am also listed as a provider of genealogical services and an expert in their ExpertConnect service that they launched roughly two years ago. I just received notification that they are discontinuing that service to concentrate on other aspects of their business. I have to say that the Association of Professional Genealogists has been around since 1979 and they have an online directory of professional genealogists who can meet your genealogical research needs.

I have been a member of the APG for as long as I have been doing this professionally and I am also the Chicago Area Chapter Representative. You can find any number of professionals with any number of specialties by visiting their website at http://www.apgen.org
