Sunday night the 84th Academy Awards show was four hours long. It may have seemed even lengthier to Meryl Streep and Jean Dujardin who both awaited awards for their acting skills. Monday afternoon the AP released a time lapse video of the awards show. Capturing the moments in under two minutes, the video clip reflects all the joy of winning an award.
Compiled with photos from some of our favorite photographers: Chris Pizello, Joel Ryan, Amy Sancetta and Matt Sayles, the montage has some great film captures. The AP video is by Amy Sancetta and music is by Kevin McCloud.
Using stills and video footage in a time lapse montage communicates in a way that real time does not. The only things missing in the Associated Press video clip are the acceptance speeches, the F bomb and the audience applause.
The film clip is so new that only a handful of people have viewed it. Take a moment to leave a comment for the producers.
