AOL Autos names Dodge Ram 1500 as Truck of the Year

AOL Autos editors have named the 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 Truck of the Year. Citing a smooth ride, a new 8-speed powertrain and fuel efficiency of 25 MPG, the announcement was made on the popular automotive website this morning.

Ram Truck Brand President and CEO, Fred Diaz stated that the company was very pleased with the announcement and that an AOL recommendation is fantastic news for dealers and customers. Diaz made his comments in a press release immediately following the award announcement.

The 2013 Ram 1500 is available in nine different trim levels and starts at $23,585 including destination charges. With V-6 or V-8 engine choices, the Ram 1500 also offers a stop-start system, thermal management system, pulse-width modulation and active aerodynamics.

In the Palm Springs area, the Ram 1500 is available at Crystal Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep located at 36444 Auto Park Drive in Cathedral City.
