Antojitos to bring authentic Mexican food and fun to CityWalk

See also

Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food is one of eight new restaurants coming to Universal CityWalk. The first, Red Oven Pizza, recently opened. Next to open is Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food. Antojitos looks like a mission-style church that has been spray painted with reds, greens and blues to give it a modern vibe. The courtyard in front of the building will have a "street" atmosphere with vendor carts, a bar in a vintage VW mini bus, and al fresco dining.

The first floor is a mix of reclaimed wood, polished concrete, corrugated metal, graphic black and white tiles, neon graffiti, and a display of over 200 tequilas. There are two open kitchens where food is prepared in view of restaurant patrons.

The second floor overlooks the main floor but has a softer, more intimate feel that includes a private dining room and a balcony looking out on Universal's CityWalk.

Antojitos will feature tapas-style dining along with a selection of over 200 different tequillas. Prices will start around $20 for their authentic mexican fare. The opening date has not been announced, but will be soon since staff has already been hired and is being trained.
