Everyone's favorite antique and collectibles public television show has announced the 2013 tour dates and venues. The one closest to Colorado Springs will be their show in Kansas City, MO on August 10, 2013.
Did you know tickets to the Roadshow are free? US citizens need only apply; tickets are given by lottery, so anyone has a chance to get 2 free tickets to the show. They see hundreds of people in each city and, therefore, odds of scoring tickets are in your favor. I've been to the Roadshow myself and I can attest to the fact that it is a hoot -- a very fun experience for lovers of antique and vintage items! Every attendee is allowed to bring two items with them to have appraised.

There is a second way to get tickets to the Roadshow, and that is to submit photos of your unique antique furniture to their Furniture Roundup. If they select your piece to bring to the show for appraisal, Antiques Roadshow will pay to have the piece transported via a service they choose, and the owner of the furniture will receive two tickets to attend that show. The catch: you must live within 50 miles of the Roadshow event city -- so that leaves us Coloradans out this time!
