Antique shoppers on the hunt love AbFab in Mt. Pleasant/Charleston, SC

AbFab is a most unusual consignment shop in Mt. Pleasant, SC, just across the bridge from downtown Charleston. They sell all kinds of old things including architectural antiques, retro, vintage, pottery jugs, old shop scales, and antique classic cameras. The list goes on and on.

The shop is owned by Lisa Kirkley, an interior designer of many years. Her shops official name: “Absolutely Fabulous Design Finds and Consignments”. They do get things added to the inventory all the time. You never know what someone may leave with them next. She somehow gets the most interesting things and many of them sell fast. It is not surprising that many antique shoppers on the hunt stop by often.

The motto on her website is: “Fun, Funky and Whimsical additions”.

That is next to the parking lot of the old Piggly Wiggly in the Sea Island Shopping Center, where Coleman Blvd. splits to go to Sullivans Island.
