Antipasto roulades recipe for New England Patriots

The super bowl teams are set and when planning a super bowl party, I just love to offer dishes from the teams for my guests to enjoy.  For the New England Patriots, we have a recipe for Antipasto Roulades.  What!!!  We are not making a seafood dish!!!  Well, step aside, seafood; Boston’s rich Italian heritage takes center stage in Chef Vlasich’s Antipasto Roulade recipe.

For Dip

  1. Mix sour cream, Dijon mustard and balsamic vinegar and set aside

For Tortilla Roulades

  1. Take 1 tortilla and use ceramic top stove burner or Teflon sauté pan to warm slightly on both sides. You can also use a microwave to warm tortillas, but only for a few seconds.
  2. Take cheese dip and spread over whole tortilla surface area. Then layer turkey, salami and havarti on top of each other.
  3. Mix bruschetta (or tomatoes), cabbage, sour cream, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper together and place in a row across the front of the tortilla.
  4. Starting at the front, roll the tortilla, making sure to keep it tight as you go along.
  5. Keep wrapped airtight until ready to slice and serve. When ready to serve, slice on a diagonal in 1 inch thick slices.
  6. Arrange in a sunflower patter with the dip in the center.

If you live in the Mesa area, you can purchase the fresh bruschetta mix at Sam's club in Gilbert.  For the best homemade tortillas go to Pro's Ranch Market in Mesa.
