Everyone wants flawless skin yet somehow, even with all of the well marketed creams, facial washes, and serums that are sold to consumers at every turn, many of us still struggle on a daily basis with random pimples, dry spots, or dark circles that make us look less radiant.

Eating more antioxidant rich foods is a great way to help improve your skin as well as many other aspects of your health. It is no surprise to many of us that what you put in your body affects your well being. But knowing what to eat is often times the real challenge. Here are just a few great foods you can eat on a daily basis that will help you keep up the clear complexion you desire...and maybe even enhance your health in a whole new way.

Berries: Many berries, particularly blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries are extremely rich with antioxidants. You can through any of these on top of your cereal in the morning, mix in with your yogurt or a salad. Adding a serving of berries to one of your daily meals is an easy way to gain these important nutrients. Inadvertently, eating these berries will help your skin as well as many other aspects of your health.

Cantaloupe: Mellon is another fruit that is truly great tasting as well as good for your skin. Cantaloupe in particular is a food full of antioxidants that tastes great and is easy to find. As with berries, you can chop cantaloupe up and throw it in your yogurt, salad, cereal, or just eat it as is.

Fish: There are a number of values to your health from eating fish. One of them is that fish is high in antioxidants, which makes it a great food to eat regularly to keep your skin glowing and clear. In addition, fish also is high in Omega 3 fatty acids which are also great for keeping your skin firm and young looking. Besides the beauty benefits eating fish is also great for your heart, weight control, and your cardiovascular system. Pretty much, it's a no brainer, eat a lot of fish and you will see great results in your skin and overall health. That said, eating fish n' chips or other breaded versions of fish is actually counterproductive because it is fried, so please do not feel fooled by the fast food versions.
