A bumper sticker with “Error 404” and the Obama campaign logo is just one of the bumper stickers reportedly being offered by the Republicans via the National Republican Senatorial Committee, according to a Yahoo! News report released on Monday.
Republicans are turning President Barack Obama's lemons into their lemonade by raising funds via the failed Obamacare web site.
According to the report, the problems Americans are having with Obamacare's web site - Healthcare.gov, which is the failed online avenue for for Americans to sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act or Obamacare - is the inspiration for the bumper sticker. The anti-Obamacare bumper stickers make references to the troubled and often inoperable governmental web site, and the “Error 404” bumper sticker references the message online users get when they access the non-working web site.
According to those behind the bumper stickers and anti-Obamacare movement, one can get a bumper sticker by donating $5 or more to the designated web site.
The site states that your contribution fuels the fight to build a Republican majority in the Senate in 2014 which is absolutely critical if Obamacare is to be repealed or replaced.
In the latest scandal regarding the Obamacare web site fail, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said it would have been better if the launch of the Obamacare web site could have been postponed - but, she said, the Affordable Care Act law dictated the starting date as Oct. 1, 2013. She's wrong, of course. The law allowed her - the HHS secretary and her department - to give the starting date of the law - and she did.
