Paint your pinky blue and join the Secret Deodorant campaign against bullying! Secret's “Mean Stinks” campaign is encouraging students across the country to try to make their schools the nicest schools. On their tips page you get wallpaper for your computer, Face book covers, posters, tips for what to do if you are being bullied and tips for bystanders of bullying. There is also a “Meanamorphosis” video that teachers or counselors can share with their students. You can also watch a video from Rachel Simmons, co founder of the Girls-Leadership institute. On the video page you can watch a live high school assembly program.
The School district of Philadelphia hosted an Anti Bullying poster campaign this October. You can see some of the great posters at: Their site also has facts about bullying for parents, students and educators and has information for reporting school incidents and how to contact The Office of Safe Schools Advocate as well.
The I Choose to Live’s Peace in the City campaign has creatively brought awareness to bullying issues. They provide customizable workshops for students in grades 6-12 which include skit development, a play and access to a mental health advocate. They can be reached at
