The Americans with Disabilities Act is the civil rights act that grants rights to people with disabilities. Whether the person with a disability is an adult or if it is a child this act is important to know and understand. It has a lot of parts and addresses a lot of areas so it is not the easiest to understand. Staff at a Center for Independent Living (CIL) can help people understand the Americans with Disabilities Act otherwise known as the ADA. The Arthracite region CIL has a training coming up.
