The Americans with Disabilities Act is the civil rights act that grants rights to people with disabilities. Whether the person with a disability is an adult or if it is a child this act is important to know and understand. It has a lot of parts and addresses a lot of areas so it is not the easiest to understand. Staff at a Center for Independent Living (CIL) can help people understand the Americans with Disabilities Act otherwise known as the ADA. The Arthracite region CIL has a training coming up. Here are the details:

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is 23 years old and there is still plenty of confusion regarding accessibility guidelines. Come to our presentation and learn about changes that can be made within your community!
We encourage you to come and learn about the ADA and positive advocacy!
