Do you miss Anthony Weiner? He misses you, and he's thinking about making a political comeback. The Opposing Views website shared this news this afternoon, Jan. 29, 2013, and it's only a matter of time before the old Weiner memes resurface on social networking profiles. In case you don't remember, the Queens congressman was pushed out of politics after a snafu involving his Twitter account and some NC-17 photos of his junk snuggled behind a pair of undies. Hey, he's only human and it isn't like the photos were half bad. In fact, it might be hard to believe but Anthony earned himself the title "PILF" -- the "P" is for politician, and I'm sure you can figure out the rest.
Anyway, it seems that New York City voters have been getting some phone calls recently with surveys that focus heavily on the former congressman and one Manhattan democrat told Opposing Views that it was obvious Anthony Weiner is testing the waters to try and make a comeback. Well, you can't keep a good man down and it isn't like he's the only person out there who's been the center of controversy. Bill Clinton cheated on his wife while in office in the '90s, and let's face it: The man's still one of the most beloved democrats, worldwide. So maybe a comeback isn't out of the question for Weiner, who more than lived up to his name.
