Anthony Brown & group therAPy set to wow audiences as 'Sunday Best' show opener

One of the DMV's own Anthony Brown & group therAPy will bring viewers and audiences to their feet with a soulful and inspiring harmonic melody of song as they open the show on the new season of BET's "Sunday Best." The in-demand group will bring their show-stopping signature style to the masses when "Sunday Best" airs at 8 p.m. EST, this Sunday, July 13.

The Stellar award-winning ensemble will perform an exclusive medley consisting of some of their most popular hits and fan favorites, including "Total Praise" and "Better Days."

Brown's self-titled project, Anthony Brown & group therAPy was released in early 2012 and they've taken the gospel scene by storm. Their most notable accomplishments include being honored with three Stellar awards, as well as delivering dynamic performances during BET's Celebration of Gospel, Essence Music Festival, Stellar awards and the 2014 McDonald's Inspiration Gospel Tour. In addition, Brown and his ensemble were honored by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) on June 26. His debut single, "Testimony" was recognized as the Top Gospel Song at the 27th Annual ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards.
