If nerdy was a genre, then the newest electronic-infused rock group out of Kansas City would be a perfect fit. Their name is Antenna’s Up and they’re kicking off a great Friday night show.

If you’ve ever enjoyed quality computer time or the occasional video game, then the sounds that will resonate from the likes of: Bo McCall, Kyle Akers and The Ryanist will definitely draw you into the venue call The Czar Bar. After releasing their self-titled album, the band has used their time to perfect that ever-so-sought-after skill of fan capturing. That on top of trotting around the States with acts like Ha Ha Tonka and Downtown Harvest, it’s definitely a treat to have them showcase in our fair city.

If these guys weren’t enough of talent for one night, they added a few more into the line-up. Joining them on stage is: Noise FM, It’s True and Blane Fonda. Noise is also a KC native band who sounds like a mix between Muse and Placebo. And Blane Fonda on the other hand, who according to the Chicago Tribune: “Wetzel's elastic voice, an instrument capable of inhabiting moody, introspective passages and soaring, stadium-ready choruses, proved a natural fit for Blane Fonda's new, swaggering style.”

It’s a night of spaceships, glim, glam, and indie-noise.
