Another Winter Storm for our friends to the north, rain for us, and cooler temps next week.

   Another El Nino driven Winter Storm for those from New Mexico through North Carolina is racking the central portions of the United States.

   Reports of ice causing downed power poles and wires. As well as treacherous driving conditions, causing many accidents in the storms path.

   But, a good chance of rain for us here in North Florida and Southern Georgia.

   Showers move into the area overnight. Then a line of heavier rain, with the potential of some thunderstorms and gusty winds.

   At this time, severe weather isn't anticipated. But, there could be some strong winds with the thunderstorms.

   For the weekend, all day Sunday seems to be the best time for outdoor activities. Other then some wind chills in the mid 30's during the morning.

  3 Day Forecast Update:

   Saturday: Cloudy, with a high around  72. Southwest wind between 10 - 15 mph. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 12 pm. Chance of rain is 80%.

   Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38. Northwest wind between 10 - 15 mph.

   Sunday: Sunny, with a high around  55. North wind around 10 mph.

   Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 38. North wind between 5 - 10 mph.

   Monday: Mostly cloudy, with a high around 60.

   Monday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51.
