By now some of you have heard that Redline Sports Grill with it's adjacent nightclub RPM has closed it's doors as of yesterday. Another sudden impact to the bar and club industry. Another group of unemployed bartenders, waitresses, security and entertainment staff. There is a bright lining in all of this. New bars and nightclubs are opening and more investors are coming to town. However there is an 800 pound gorilla in the room that I cannot help but want to discuss. Owner Luke Cusack's role in Tucson's nightclub industry. Some would say he helped build it and others say he helped tear it down. A history that spans a generation from glitz and glamour to scandal and slander.
