Another round of rain overnight tonight in Clarksville

The skies will begin to cloud up over the Clarksville area today as the next system begins to move in. Overall, today should be a dry day with temperatures slightly above average, in the middle fifties. The rain will begin to move in overnight tonight and should stay a plain rain throughout the night tonight and into the day tomorrow. There is a slight chance for the rain to mix with snow in the morning, but it is unlikely. Temperatures will cool back into the forties on Wednesday, but the cool down will be temporary. The big cool down will be for the weekend as arctic air moves into the eastern United States. This will bring a few snow showers to the area overnight Friday into Saturday with temperatures in the thirties on Saturday.

Here is the Clarksville area forecast:

Tuesday: Increasing clouds. High: 56

Tuesday night: Scattered showers. Chance of precipitation 70%. Low: 40

Wednesday: Isolated showers early, possibly mixing with snow, otherwise partly sunny skies. Chance of precipitation 40%. High: 47
