Another right-wing Facebook page calls for the lynching of President Obama

Following outrage across the internet, another right-wing Facebook page has decided to post an image promoting the lynching of President Obama.

Last week at, we broke a news story involving a conservative Facebook page titled "America: The next generation." The page in question posted a horribly violent image of President Obama being hung in a photo shopped picture of the moment before the death of Saddam Hussein. The administrator of the page cheered on the idea of lynching President Obama, stating across the image itself that it should be "the making of a national holiday."

The page was taken over and internally hacked and all of the hateful images and rants were replaced by pictures and internet "memes" of goats. The administrators of the page have tried to recreate their page, but it hasn't seen much traction. Like many thing in life, as one door closes another door opens and it has happened again in the wild world of political social media.

Another right-wing page, titled "War on freedom," has posted another image of President Obama, this time of the president staring forward with a black background. To the left of the image are the words "I VOTE...WE DRAG THIS F*CKER OUT AND HANG HIM." The page's main photo is an image of the Statue of Liberty in front of a Nazi flag.

Since President Obama was elected in 2008, the fanatical political right have made the president "public enemy #1," showing no signs of stopping anytime soon. The issue of freedom of speech and the First Amendment is often argued by both sides of the political aisle, but when one side openly calls for the death of the Commander in Chief, no matter what side you are on, it's wrong and shouldn't be tolerated.
