Music is Art Festival – Saturday, September 13th (rain date September 14th) from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in Delaware Park behind the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. The 12th annual festival will feature more than 100 bands on eight stages along with artists, four live DJ stages, performance artists, dancers, a kids’ village, food and beverages, and more. Curtain Up! 2014 – Friday, September 19th beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Theatre District in downtown Buffalo. The curtain raises on the 2014-15 theatre season at 8 p.m. in various venues throughout the Buffalo-Niagara area, including 710 Main Theatre, Buffalo Laboratory Theatre, Lancaster Opera House and O’Connell & Company. Ballpark Brew Bash – Saturday, September 20th from 4 to 8 p.m. at Coca Cola Field in downtown Buffalo. This 21-and-over event, presented by Consumer’s Beverages, will feature more than 50 breweries from around the world along with live entertainment, food, home brew competitions and more. General admission tickets for the Ballpark Brew Bash are $35 in advance, $45 at the door; VIP tickets are $75, and designated driver tickets are $5 at the door (includes soda and water).
