Gelatin Splash – Thursday, June 12th at 6 p.m. (registration begins at 4 p.m.) at Banchetti by Rizzo’s, 550 N. French Rd. in Amherst – rain or shine. Support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of WNY at the 25th annual event. Find out more at the LLS website.

All Wright All Day Trolley Tour –Saturday, June 14th – plus other dates throughout the summer and fall – with the trolley leaving from Forest Lawn Cemetery, 1411 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo. On the tour, visit the Martin House Complex, the Filling Station at the Pierce Arrow Museum, the Fontana Boat House, Graycliff Estate and the Blue Sky Mausoleum at Forest Lawn; also included is a catered lunch at the Boathouse. Cost is $125 for the general public, $115 for members of the Martin House or Graycliff; trolley leaves Forest Lawn at 8:30 a.m. Find out more about the tour at www.darwinmartinhouse.org.

Strawberry Festival – Wednesday, June 18th from 4 to 8 p.m. at Island Park, Main St. in the Village of Williamsville behind Village Hall. Visit www.willvill.com for more information.

German Sommerfest – Saturday, June 21st from noon to 6 p.m. at the Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village, 3755 Tonawanda Creek Rd. in Amherst. Celebrate with German food and beverages, music, dancing, a VW Bug Car Show and more. Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for children. Find out more at bnhv.org.
