Labatt Blue Pond Hockey Tournament – Saturday, February 9th at the (make-up day – Sunday, February 10th) Erie Basin Marina in downtown Buffalo. The 6th annual tournament, taking place from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., will feature more than 650 players competing at a number of levels. There is a possibility that this event will once again become a street hockey tournament – stay up-to-date with the latest about the tournament at www.labattbluepondhockey.com.
Graycliff Valentine’s Tours – Saturday, February 9th at 10:45 a.m. and Saturday, February 16th at 11 a.m. at Graycliff Estate, 6472 Old Lakeshore Rd. in Derby. The tour includes information about Frank Lloyd Wright’s design of Graycliff, as well as anecdotes about his love life (Wright was married three times). Summer in February – Saturday, February 16th through Sunday, February 24th in the Food Court at Eastern Hills Mall, 4545 Transit Rd. in Williamsville. Hours are Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. There’s an ice cream eating contest on Saturday, February 16th (noon) and Fun in the Sun games and prizes on Saturday, February 23rd (1 to 3 p.m.).
